Project Overview

Our largest project for Farrer & Co was the most challenging. Nearly 30,000 sq ft of office space from basement to 6th floor was refurbished over 4 phases, while the building remained occupied. Works were carefully planned for sectional completion in order to move departments between floors, freeing up further space. Maintaining strict logistical procedures was key to minimising disruption. Access was through external scaffolding attached to the entire High Holborn elevation.

As well as forming new meeting rooms, open plan office space, tea points, breakout areas and WC’s, the common areas were fully refurbished and new lift controls and finishes were also applied. The works included full strip out of the building, replacement of much of the buildings external plant, new AC, heating, lighting, power, data, telecoms, security, flooring, blinds, suspended ceilings, joinery and decorations.
